Destini is a proud Spanish Harlem native and mother of 3. She has worked in finance and as a health coach, but when she had her children she realized she wanted to move into entrepreneurship and lead through action to set an example for her children. Her business serves as a podcast and media platform, and she is currently focused on her first children's book which she published through the business. The book depicts her family with the goal of allowing people to see themselves through the illustrations, and to shift the narrative about the importance of having both mothers and fathers share in the responsibility of raising children. She is excited about the prospect of adding an animation element to her story and creating a blog, to create a whole collection that sparks thought-provoking conversations for families.
